My name is Brandon Nicodemo. I am a 2011 graduate of Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey and a 2015 graudate of Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT with a degree in finance.

My love of hockey has extendes itself beyond my high school and club teams. I am an enthusiastic New Jersey Devils fan and visit the Prudential Center as often as possible. It was at the Prudential Center that I learned about a program called Hockey In New Jersey (formerly Hockey In Newark) that needed support. I decided that I could help.

Basements in Bergen County are filled with great hockey equipment that is no longer being used. In May of 2009, I organized a drive in my own high school that received a great response. We were able to deliver a van full of used equipment to the Hockey in New Jersey Newark facility. It was great to visit the facility and meet some of the players and coaches.

Hockey in New Jersey is a non-profit organization created from the need to support financially disadvantaged young ice hockey players. Hockey equipment is expensive, so the opportunity to play is limited for underprivileged youth - visit to see for yourself what an amazing program they have.

Why not make a difference in our communities by recycling and redistributing used hockey equipment to youth who can put it to good use? We now have a few drop off locations in Northern New Jersey for used hockey equipment donations. Please email me for details,
